Where Are ePrescriptions Accepted?

Our digital prescriptions are officially recognized in multiple European countries. That means if a Docy doctor prescribes you medication, you can legally pick it up from a local pharmacy—even while you're abroad. Whether you're on a business trip, vacation, or living in the EU, access to care remains uninterrupted.

Currently Supported Countries

As of now, you can use your ePrescription in the following countries:

  • Germany
  • France
  • Spain
  • Italy
  • Portugal
  • Sweden
  • Finland
  • Estonia
  • Croatia
  • Latvia
  • Slovenia
  • Ireland

More countries are being added as EU-wide digital health systems continue to evolve. We always ensure your prescription is generated according to EU standards and compatible with local pharmacy systems.

How It Works

After your consultation, if a prescription is needed, you’ll receive a digital version directly via email—instantly. The file includes a QR code or identification string that pharmacists can scan to access your treatment details.

In some cases, you may be asked to present an ID or share your European Health Insurance Number (EHIC). We recommend checking with a nearby pharmacy to confirm exact requirements before visiting.
