These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Docy platform, including all services, features, and content offered through our website and any associated applications ("Platform"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, please refrain from using the services.
1. Eligibility
To use Docy, you must be at least 18 years old or have the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration and appointment booking process.
2. Medical Services
Docy provides access to licensed and certified physicians through online consultations. The services include general medical advice, digital prescriptions, and follow-up reports. These services are not intended for emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please contact local emergency services immediately.
3. Booking and Payment
Consultations are available by appointment and subject to availability. Payment must be made in full at the time of booking. The standard consultation fee is €30 and includes a 20-minute video session, a written medical report, and (where applicable) a digital prescription.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time at no additional cost. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a partial or full charge. Refund requests must be submitted in writing and are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
5. Confidentiality and Data Protection
We are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). All personal and medical data is stored securely and used solely for the purpose of delivering healthcare services. Consultations are conducted via encrypted platforms (Zoom, WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams), ensuring your information remains private and protected.
6. Prescriptions and Pharmacy Use
Digital prescriptions issued through Docy are valid in countries that accept ePrescriptions. It is your responsibility to ensure local pharmacies can fulfill prescriptions based on your location. Docy is not responsible for any refusal by a pharmacy to honor a prescription.
7. User Responsibilities
You agree not to misuse the platform, provide false information, impersonate others, or use the services for unlawful purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
8. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide accurate and helpful medical advice, Docy and its affiliates are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. We are not liable for misdiagnosis or failure to access emergency care due to your reliance on online consultation.
9. Modifications
Docy reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union and applicable national laws where the services are provided. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the competent courts.
